Connie and James Abel are shown here on their 38th wedding anniversary. They have been growing Clivia for well over 35 years. They live and grow their clivias in Pretoria, Republic of South Africa. They have a particular interest in "frats" or freaks -- unusual flower forms, especially spidery forms with narrow petals and sepals.
