The Amaryllis Family: Hippeastrum [iguazuanum x leopoldii]

The following information has been contributed by members of the I.B.S. E-Mail Robin for your enjoyment.
Hippeastrum [iguazuanum x leopoldii] Hippeastrum [iguazuanum x leopoldii] seedlings were a simple "average" of the two paraents' separate traits. The cross was made in 1975 and the first seedling bloomed in May, 1980. None of the plants is still in cultivation.
