The Amaryllis Family: Hippeastrum lapacense


Hippeastrum lapacense is native to Bolivia, in South America. The flower has a diameter of 5 to 6 inches. It is a member of the group of species closely related to H. leopoldii. Dormant rest period in winter, but keep slightly moist.
