The Amaryllis Family: Sir Peter Smithers

Sir Peter Smithers is an Honorary Fellow of the Royal Horticultural Society and a longtime bulb hybridizer. He has a special interest in the amaryllid genus Nerine, and has published a book on the subject. A former member of the British Parliament, he is now living in Switzerland.
