The Amaryllis Family: Nerine hybrid "SARAH"

The following information has been contributed by members of the I.B.S. E-Mail Bulb Forum for your enjoyment.
SARAH: Sdg. 27135a. (Mrs.Cooper x Mary Tudor). Far the best magenta we raised: a stunning glowing colour inherited from 'Mrs.Cooper'. But it proved impossible to get the colour in reproduction, in spite of hours of work in the lab at Radstock Repro. This is an exceptionally vigorous plant, certainly polyploid, with a 26 inch stem and a very large flat head. Named for my daughter Sarah, who lives in Venice, Florida and raises Arabian Horses.
